  • On April 5th, our very own Stace Reich, Director of Logistics at Allan Bros., rolled up his sleeves and volunteered his time to help restore a piece of the Naches Valley’s wild beauty.   Alongside seven dedicated members of the Yakima Valley Pheasants Forever Chapter, the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, and the hardworking Wenas Wildlife Area crew, the team planted 1,200 native plant plugs—including Golden Currant, Bitterbrush, and Sagebrush—right in the heart of the area impacted by the 2024 Black Canyon Fire.   This boots-on-the-ground conservation effort is about more than just planting—it’s about restoring vital habitat for upland wildlife and helping the land recover. Thanks to this incredible team, the Wenas is one step closer to thriving again. 🌾🐾   👏 A huge thank you to Stace and everyone who continues to make a difference!   #AllanBros #ConservationInAction #WenasWildlifeArea #BlackCanyonFire #CommunityInvolvement #PheasantsForever #WDFW #WildlifeHabitat #YakimaValley

  • Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Naches Valley High School for their Community Day of Service! Mrs. Eims’ Sophomore English class joined us in La Jardinita, our employee community garden, to help us prepare for the growing season. These incredible students laid out garden plots, created pathways, and hauled in cardboard we’ll be using as a sustainable weed barrier—all with great energy and teamwork. We’re grateful for their hard work and community spirit. It’s inspiring to see the next generation giving back and learning the value of service. Thank you, NVHS students, for digging in and making a difference! #WeAreAllanBros #CommunityGarden #LaJardinita #NachesValleyHighSchool #DayOfService #FutureLeaders #FarmLife #YakimaValley

What do coding, art, and tacos have in common? An Allan Bros STEM Day of course! 🌮🚀💻   Last week, eleven Naches Valley High School students explored the world of Python Turtle fractal trees with alumni Dalton Kohl 🎓, NVHS Class of 2019! Students tackled loops, recursion, and creative problem-solving, turning code into stunning digital art. 🎨✨ Many came in with coding experience from Ms. Deaton’s class, and Dalton shared how coding plays a crucial role in his career.   A graduate of University of San Diego Dalton now lives in Los Angeles, working as a Data Analyst at Keenan while pursuing his Master of Science in Quantitative Management: Business Analytics at Duke University. 📊   Opportunities like these help build connections between current students and successful alumni, strengthening the STEM network for Naches Valley High School. A huge thank you to Dalton for giving back to inspire the next generation! 🙌   (And of course, no Allan Bros STEM day is complete without tacos from our cafeteria! 🌮🌮🌮   #STEMEducation #CodingIsCool #PythonTurtle #FutureCoders #FractalFun #TacosAndTech #AllanBrosSTEMDay #NVHSAlumni #MentorshipMatters #weareAllanBros

  • Spring is here, and so is the perfect time to plan for a season of growth! This year, we’ve started a community garden at our Naches office, giving our employees a space to plant and grow fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. 🌿🍎🌸 In honor of World Planting Day, our garden members are mapping out their plans for the year—choosing what to plant, where to plant it, and dreaming of the harvest to come! Do you have a garden? Tell us what you’re most excited to plant this season! 👩🌾👇 #WorldPlantingDay #WeAreAllanBros #CommunityGarden #PlantGrowHarvest

  • Allan Bros. was proud to be part of the Naches Valley High School sendoff for the Girls Basketball team as they made their way to the State Tournament—their first appearance since 2007! A huge shoutout to our intern, Kaitlyn VanAmburg, and the entire team for their hard work and dedication. After a strong showing on Saturday, they’re set to hit the court again on Wednesday, March 5th, at 2:00 PM in the Yakima Sundome, facing off against Nooksack Valley. We’re cheering you on, Rangers! Let’s bring the energy and support our team! 💙💛 #GoRangers #StateBound #AllanBrosProud

  • As we close out this year’s internship program, we celebrate the growth and learning of five outstanding high school seniors! 🌟 Over the past several months, they’ve explored every part of the Ag industry—from the orchards and vineyards to the shipping docks—gaining firsthand experience with what it takes to be part of a real apple and cherry Grower, Packer, and Shipper and a top-tier vineyard and winery operation in Washington state. 🍎🍒   Beyond the hands-on experience, they dove into James Clear’s book Atomic Habits, tackled life skills like personal finance, landing a job after school, building a professional network, and creating a LinkedIn profile. They left with valuable skills that will serve them well in their future careers. 💼✨   To our interns: We can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next! 🚀 #FutureLeaders #AgIndustry #AllanBrosInternship #weareallanbros #nachesvalleyhs #CareerReady #stem Isabella Thompson
