Equity. Justice. Education.

关于我们

All4Ed is a Washington, DC-based national advocacy organization committed to expanding equitable educational opportunities for students of color, students from low-income families, and other marginalized groups. We advance transformation from the classroom to Congress by advocating for federal, state, and local policies and practices that ensure all students graduate high school prepared for postsecondary education and success in a rapidly changing world. By collaborating with government officials, we advance federal, state, and local policies that give educators the support, incentives, and political will necessary to reimagine and restructure their schools. At the same time, we work alongside district and school leaders in our Future Ready Schools? Network (futureready.org/ #FutureReady) to equip them with the tools and resources they need to think differently about student learning and implement practices to improve student outcomes. Through this dual approach, we build collective momentum at the local, state, and federal levels to expand equitable educational opportunities and dismantle discriminatory structures that have deprived too many students of the high-quality education they deserve. #K12policy #education #edTech #schoolleadership #districtleadership

Last night, newly confirmed Secretary of Education McMahon sent an email to career civil service staff that basically seeks to dismantle the US Department of Education. We the people do NOT want this; just see our All4Ed poll data! (Link below.) This purportedly gives education back to the states - but states ALREADY have control of education. This is a scam to cut public funding and shortchange our schools and students that need the most support. Do we need to improve ED and improve student outcomes? Of course, yes! Do we want to dismantle the agency that protects and funds all of our students? No! https://lnkd.in/eJ4xZ5KW

Education is a cornerstone of opportunity and every child deserves the right to learn. Tennessee lawmakers are pushing dangerous bills that would strip undocumented children of access to public education, violating long standing legal protections and threatening our communities’ future. Together we can protect every student's right to learn. To learn how you can take action TODAY, visit educationforalltn.org. #EducationForAllTN #Ed4AllTN National Immigration Law Center

The Department of Education is not a political pawn. Linda McMahon must listen to the majority of Americans who support public schools & reject efforts to weaken the Department. All4Ed remains committed to advocating for equity & excellence in education. Read Amy L.'s statement on our website: https://lnkd.in/euaAds_K

The US Senate is voting to confirm Linda McMahon to be our next Secretary of Education. Her first act - one of many steps she will likely take towards dismantling the U.S. Department of Education - will be to usher in a new round of resignations through a $25k voluntary separation or early retirement buyout offer that ED sent staff late on Friday, with the deadline of *today* to decide. If staff do not resign, they face a strong likelihood of being terminated anyway through a reduction in force (RIF), which will probably impact the vast majority of our civil servants who bravely choose to stay and to work on our collective behalf. By gutting those who work at ED, she is gutting all of us, all of our schools and colleges and programs, all of our classrooms, all of our children and young people, all our adults who seek to build better lives through education and training, all of us. #protectpubliced All4Ed

This evening, the U.S. Senate confirmed Linda McMahon as our new U.S. Secretary of Education. We urge Congress and our nation to hold her accountable to the commitments she made during her committee hearing: maintaining education funding, protecting critical programs like Title I and IDEA, supporting career pathways, and ensuring mental health supports for our children. All4Ed remains committed to advocating for policies that promote equity and excellence in education. Read All4Ed CEO Amy L.'s full statement here: https://lnkd.in/euaAds_K

The U.S. Department of Education was created by Congress and since October 17, 1979, has been committed to protecting every child’s right to a free public education. Remind Ms. McMahon that this is the responsibility of the Secretary of Education. Public education is at a crossroads, and your voice has never been more important. As the incoming Secretary of Education takes office, we must come together to communicate that a strong and effective U.S. Department of Education is essential for ensuring equal opportunities, protecting student rights, and supporting schools across the country. That’s why we’re calling on educators, school leaders, and advocates to?sign on to our letter urging the incoming Secretary of Education to uphold and strengthen federal support for education.
