The All Points team was on hand this week to attend the “State of Madison County” event featuring Madison County Commission Chairman Mac McCutcheon at the Von Braun Center in #HuntsvilleAlabama. Presented by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, this event provides Chairman McCutcheon with “an opportunity to update the business community on Madison County's progress, the issues facing the county, and the outlook for the coming year.” McCutcheon shared updates on a variety of current projects, as well as sharing exciting future plans for the growing Madison County area. This week, the All Points team was excited to attend the 36th Annual Wernher Von Braun Memorial Dinner, hosted by The National Space Club - Huntsville Chapter at the Von Braun Center in #HuntsvilleAlabama. Affectionately dubbed the “Space Prom,” this celebration serves as the largest fundraiser event hosted by the Space Club and honors selected individuals and groups with a variety of distinguished awards and scholarships. This year’s theme was “More to Dream, More to Explore” and featured Bill Nelson, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Administrator, as the keynote speaker. All Points was proud to support this event once again as a Bronze Sponsor. Our All Points | Space Prep team was proud to be an exhibitor this week at the 2024 Satellite Innovation & MilSat Symposium in Mountain View, California. Our VP of Business Development – Space Prep, Les Lake, was on hand to share how companies could reserve payload processing space for their future satellite missions in our new Space Prep facility coming to the Florida Space Coast. This year’s conference networking event was a lovely dinner cruise across the San Francisco Bay, and it was a perfect setting to make new relationships with members of the space industry. Thanks to The Huntsville Madison County Chamber's Women’s Business Council (WBC) for hosting an excellent October meeting featuring guest speaker, Stephanie Bryan, Tribal Chair & CEO of the Poarch Creek Indians. Stephanie shared many stories and lessons learned from her amazing career journey. In 2014, Stephanie Bryan became the first female political leader elected to the position of Tribal Chair and CEO for the Poarch Creek Indians. In this position, not only is she involved with the legislative aspect of the Tribe, but she also oversees all Tribal operations including Tribal Government, Creek Indian Enterprises Development Authority (CIEDA), and PCI Gaming Authority (PCIGA).
