On our Denver Service Saturday last weekend, Lisa and her team of volunteers had the honor of helping 101-year-old Howard Berger tidy his yard. But what started as yard work turned into a day full of connection and inspiration. Howard, a WWII veteran, shared his remarkable life stories—from his military service to encounters with Bob Hope. As one volunteer said, “We would never have met Howard if it wasn’t for A Little Help, and that would have been a tragedy.” You can help us foster more transformative connections.
