ENTRY LEVEL JOB POSTING -- WEST LOS ANGELES
Aligned Consulting Services aims to embrace the model of supporting and educating the next generation of individuals interested in joining the legal profession in Southern California. We are actively seeking to bring on recent graduates from our local university grads (UCLA, University of Southern California, Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, UC Irvine) interested in learning the business side of the legal profession, by serving as attorney recruiting consultants, as they study for the LSAT and contemplate the lifelong (and costly) commitment to a legal career.
* Recent and soon to be graduates interested in participating in our new 2-year legal recruiting training program, who (1) gaduated (or are about to graduate) from one of the aforementioned schools with top academics, (2) live near our Westwood offices, and (3) have a demonstrated interest in law (and ideally some sales experience as well) should apply immediately by sending a personalizrd email with their resume, transcript and a 1 page max cover letter explaining why they would be a good fit for our company's training program (please no use of ChatGPT!). ** We are actively hiring for our intern-leadership class that starts July 1. Compensation depends on experience, but generally is $20-$30 per hour and 40-hours per week (approx. $60K/year), plus very significant commissions and discretionary bonuses ($10-40K/year), and invitation to participate in other company perks (insurance benefits, fancy Friday lunches and quarterly conferences/teambuilding trips to Vegas/Cabo).
*** The role is not remote and you will be expected to be in office in our Westwood offices 4-5 days a week. While we cannot mandate the duration of your employment, but we expect that hired individuals will remain with us until they matriculate to law school (in approximately 2 years). We are flexible re: providing time off for LSAT studying and law school application prep. Top performers may recieve financial assistance and professional coaching/advising re: the LSAT and applications, provided by ACS' exceptional vendors. Participants will also obtain LOR from ACS' founder, who has strong ties to many top law schools.
*** In the event you decide not to attend law school, high performing participants will be retained as full-time recruiters on track for promotion to mananagement. Of course, if you get sick of lawyerings, you will always have a home to return to post law school or firm life.
