We’ve got our quarterly strategy meeting tomorrow! (It’s a bit early, but logistics are tricky.) We always start by reviewing our annual targets, the progress we’ve made, and where we want to be by the end of next quarter. That’s the number-heavy part of the day. After that, we focus on strategy. The hardest part isn’t coming up with ideas—it’s deciding what to say no to. Narrowing things down to what’s realistic is always a challenge. We don’t always get into the nitty-gritty of our priorities on strategy day, but we do leave with a clear direction that has buy-in from everyone. The rest of the week is for working out the details with teammates and managers. By the end of the week, we have everything locked in as KPIs and Priorities in Align. Then we set our huddle cadence. Depending on our priorities, we might have weekly or bi-weekly meetings focused just on the company’s main goal. Sometimes, we just add quick updates to our daily huddle. It all depends on the season and what we’re focused on, but we ALWAYS have a designated recurring time to keep our priorities alive. What else are you curious about?
