Thanks to your incredible support in 2024, Gii has made remarkable strides that have transformed hundreds of lives. Together, we have: - Supported 183 youth?with mentorship and opportunities, lighting the path to a brighter future. - Helped 200+ refugees secure full-time employment and contract jobs, offering stability and hope. - Empowered 300+ women to break barriers and lead with confidence, creating ripple effects of change. - Assisted 91 individuals?to break the language divide. - Advanced 300+ lives?through education. - Dedicated ~25,000 volunteer hours from passionate individuals, whose generosity and time make all the difference. - Grew our?team by 14, and expanded our?board by 3. - Added 6 new global ambassadors, helping us amplify our impact worldwide. - Received $175,000+ in-kind donations. - Conducted 6 international interviews and media events, including a TEDx fireside discussion, sharing our message and raising awareness globally. These accomplishments represent not just numbers—they are?stories of resilience, hope, and collaboration. Our founder, Anjum Malik, has just returned from an inspiring whirlwind 36 hours in Washington, D.C., and the energy she brings back is truly infectious! Anjum is invigorated and deeply moved by the remarkable people she connected with and the powerful conversations she had, along with the chance to catch up with colleagues and associates. Each meeting was filled with meaningful exchanges and heartfelt reunions with friends and colleagues who share our vision for a better future. We are incredibly grateful to Ambassador Oksana Markarova and Andriy Tsymbaliuk for graciously welcoming us into the majestic setting of the Ukrainian embassy, where we discussed Ukraine's most pressing needs. A special thank-you to Zheela Noori for the insightful interview at the dynamic Voice of America. We are also deeply grateful to Merin Rajadurai for a delightful dinner filled with engaging conversation, and to Katie Schweickhardt at the Stand Together Foundation for her kindness and graciousness that made Anjum's time in DC all the more special.
