Today, we’re proud to spotlight Francisco Gutierrez, senior vice president of development, who has served on the board of HomeAid Hawai‘i since 2016. HomeAid Hawai‘i, founded in 2015 with support from A&B and other local companies, brings together development and building industry leaders to address homelessness through housing and outreach programs—supporting 16 projects across Hawai‘i to date. Last month, A&B team members on Kaua‘i had the honor of presenting Kōloa Elementary School with a donation to support their 12th Annual Holiday Bag Fundraiser at The Shops at Kukui‘ula! Students put their creativity to work, hand-decorating nearly 1,000 holiday gift bags, and hosted their first-ever gift-wrapping station at the shopping center. Through their efforts, they raised $3,817, and with A&B’s donation, the total reached $4,817! Mahalo to the students, teachers, and our community for coming together in support of local education. Partnering with our neighbors is at the heart of what we do!

Celebrating Women’s Leadership on International Women's Day! 🌟 This International Women’s Day, we are honored to highlight A&B's Cathy Bray, manager of general accounting and systems, and Jessica Morikone, manager of organizational effectiveness. As co-chairs of A&B’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, they attended the Society of Human Resource Management Women in Leadership Institute in Florida last fall. With more than 1,800 women leaders, this four-day event empowered attendees with actionable strategies, networking, and insights tailored to female leadership. At A&B’s headquarters in downtown Honolulu, we’re celebrating Women’s History Month by sharing exhibits from the National Women’s History Museum and the National Museum of American History, spotlighting inspiring women past and present. A special display board highlights historical women and contemporary changemakers. Plus, employees can express gratitude to women who have positively impacted their lives with company-provided thank-you cards. Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar is Coming to Queens' Marketplace! Alexander & Baldwin is pleased to announce that Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar will be opening at Queens’ Marketplace in Fall 2025. This unique concept will blend shopping and dining, offering Tommy Bahama’s signature men’s and women’s sportswear, swimwear, accessories, and home décor alongside a casual restaurant and full-service bar with a spacious outdoor lanai. Guests can look forward to enjoying a modern, island-inspired menu featuring locally sourced produce, fresh seafood, and signature dishes such as coconut shrimp and ahi tuna tacos, complemented by tropical cocktails and local microbrews. “Partnering with Tommy Bahama to introduce the Marlin Bar to Hawai‘i Island underscores our commitment to creating exceptional shopping and dining experiences at Queens’ Marketplace,” said Jordan Brant, senior vice president of leasing at Alexander & Baldwin.
