The upcoming Department of Defense Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) responsible AI (RAI) Community of Interest (COI) June Meeting is scheduled for June 27th, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). In this session, we will host two presentations focused on the development of responsible AI workforce training within the Department of Defense. We will share insights regarding different approaches to developing responsible AI trainings and the challenges associated with curriculum development in an evolving field. The discussions will also highlight the potential audiences for responsible AI training and how curricula is tailored to those audiences. This meeting promises to be a valuable opportunity for stakeholders across the DoD to gain insights into the evolving landscape of RAI workforce development and to contribute to shaping the future of responsible AI education. ???? The CDAO RAI division has created a Responsible AI COI to help facilitate adoption of RAI practices across the DoD, and to build a community around this work. The purpose of this RAI COI is to provide a voluntary forum for (1) sharing knowledge and best practices related to RAI in the defense context, (2) presenting in-progress RAI projects, (3) exploring technologies that advance RAI work, and (4) delivering self-defined outputs, such as processes or standards. ?????
