A great morning of presentations: The morning began with Scott Gregory, MBA and I speaking to FEMA on how #CALFIRE is leveraging technology in crisis communications including our use of ALERTCalifornia and our valuable partnership with UC San Diego. I then had the privilege of participating as a panel member for the #ClimateWeek NYC: “Communicating Disaster Preparedness” to discuss the ongoing work California is doing to mitigate the threat of wildfires and the important role community members play in prevention.
