Did you know? According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, more than 40% of adults in the U.S. reported symptoms of mental health and substance use disorders in 2021. Unfortunately, many of them go undiagnosed and untreated, with many turning to emergency rooms only to face long wait times for follow-up care. At Alera Health, we're working to change this by integrating mental health care into all care settings through our ONEcare Networks. These integrated systems of care prioritize early identification, coordinated care, and faster access to treatment—reducing unnecessary Emergency Department visits and improving patient outcomes. ? Patients in our ONEcare network are 8x less likely to use emergency rooms. ? Our networks helps reduce health costs by 3.5x for those struggling with behavioral health issues. ? Most importantly, we're ensuring that patients receive the care they need before a crisis hits. Together, we're bridging the gap in mental health care, one step at a time. #MentalHealthMatters #HealthcareInnovation #ONEcare #PatientCare #HealthEquity #BehavioralHealth #PreventionIsKey #WellnessFirst

At Alera Health, we celebrate the beautiful spectrum of minds that make up our communities. Neurodiversity reminds us that every brain works differently — and every person brings unique strengths, perspectives, and potential to the world. For individuals with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent conditions, behavioral health support plays a critical role in fostering emotional well-being, confidence, and inclusion. By creating safe, supportive environments and offering personalized care pathways, we can empower neurodivergent individuals to thrive — not just survive. Breaking down stigmas starts with understanding and acceptance. This week, we honor neurodivergent individuals, their families, and the behavioral health professionals who work alongside them to promote equity, self-advocacy, and whole-person care. Let's work together to build a more inclusive healthcare system where every mind is valued, and every voice is heard. #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek #InclusiveCare #BehavioralHealthMatters #DifferentNotLess #EmpoweringEveryMind #AleraHealth

?? Exciting News! Alera Health is proud to announce that Integral Health Network of Southern Arizona (IHNSA), a ONEcare Network managed by Alera Health, in partnership with Banner – University Family Care, has achieved a 12.1% reduction in the 2023 Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) — a milestone that highlights the power of integrated care and collaborative partnerships in transforming healthcare outcomes. By leveraging innovative outreach strategies, data-driven coordination, and whole-person care, IHNSA engaged hard-to-reach populations, ensuring timely access to both medical and behavioral health services for some of Arizona's most vulnerable individuals. This achievement reflects our commitment to advancing value-based care models that not only improve health outcomes but also reduce healthcare costs — creating a more equitable and sustainable system for all. We are honored to support IHNSA and Banner – University Family Care in their remarkable work. Patient safety is at the heart of everything we do — especially when it comes to those navigating both medical and behavioral health challenges. Patient safety goes beyond protocols and procedures — it's about fostering trust, dignity, and compassion in every interaction. Individuals facing behavioral health conditions often experience barriers to care, stigma, and fragmented systems, making their safety and well-being even more critical to protect. By promoting integrated care, open communication, and proactive care coordination, we can ensure that every person receives the safe, supportive, and equitable care they deserve — no matter where they are on their health journey. This week, we honor the healthcare professionals, care teams, and community partners who work tirelessly to safeguard patient safety and empower individuals to live healthier, fuller lives. Every life matters. Every voice matters. Every action matters. ?? Together, let's continue building a healthcare system where safety, dignity, and behavioral health are at the core of every decision. #PatientSafetyAwarenessWeek #BehavioralHealthMatters #SafeCareForAll #IntegratedCare #AleraHealth

We believe that every individual—regardless of ability—deserves compassionate care, dignity, and equitable access to behavioral health services. This month, we recognize the strength, resilience, and unique contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities and the families, caregivers, and providers who support them. Living with a developmental disability can present daily challenges—but no one should have to navigate those challenges alone. Behavioral health plays a vital role in helping individuals thrive by supporting emotional well-being, promoting independence, and fostering inclusion within our communities. Together, we can break down barriers, challenge stigmas, and build a more inclusive healthcare system—one that empowers every person to live a fulfilling life. ?? Join us in advocating for compassionate care, access to resources, and the celebration of every ability. #DevelopmentalDisabilitiesMonth #InclusiveCare #BehavioralHealthForAll #EmpoweringEveryAbility
