2023's MSSP results just announced by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services show that Aledade accountable care organizations (ACOs) delivered a record $801 million in savings, more than any other accountable care partner in the entire country. Our partner practices earned more shared savings and higher quality scores than non-Aledade entities, with 93% of Aledade partners earning shared savings, compared to just 69% of others. This week, NEJM Catalyst published an article co-written by Aledade CEO Farzad Mostashari and esteemed business author Geoffrey Moore, which argues that to significantly expand value-based care within Medicare, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services should apply lessons from Mr. Moore's book "Crossing the Chasm." This could mean taking a strategic approach similar to the one that successfully transitioned hospitals from paper to electronic health records more than a decade ago. The Aledade Policy Institute calls on Congress to now provide long-term funding for community health centers (CHCs). These centers play a vital role in ensuring that communities have access to critical, high-quality health care. CHCs are an essential component of America’s primary care system, serving over 32.5 million patients in 2025 (nearly one out of every ten Americans) regardless of ability to pay.
