First-generation silicon #solar panels are nearing the end of their useful life. Here's the problem: there's no efficient way to recycle these panels, which means many are simply dumped in landfills. Here's the solution: a study from Link?ping University (Sweden), published in Nature, is developing a new recycling method for solar cells that avoids hazardous solvents. This technique (which uses water as the primary solvent) allows all components of a perovskite solar cell to be repeatedly recycled while maintaining the same efficiency as the original. https://lnkd.in/ed5hZ5Sh

Researchers have been looking into alternatives like sodium, potassium, and zinc. Having trouble accessing approved funding for your electric school bus fleet? While a federal judge blocked President Trump's executive order to?freeze certain federal grant?funds, the World Resource Institute's (WRI) Electric School Bus Initiative confirmed that?school districts and other fleet operators are still unable to access their payment portal to access awarded funds. Here's what they recommend awardees do while waiting for the release of funds: 1. Retain documentation of your award, including downloading or taking screenshots of your funding status or any inability to access your payment portal. 2. Adhere to all existing award obligations and compliance terms, including meeting deadlines and filing required reporting. 3.
