RELEASE #1: INTRODUCING THE ALCHEMY DIGITAL PRODUCT ???? We are thrilled to show you Release #1 of The Alchemy Digital Product. But first, we wanted to set the context on why we are building a digital product in the first place and why we think it is critical for the long-term success of our safety net clinic partners. Over the last decade, our team has built digital pharmacy products that have dispensed over 25 million prescriptions to 4M patients across all 50 states. In that time, we’ve seen how the existing pharmacy technology infrastructure in America has lagged behind most other industries that have been through consumerization shifts in recent years. But it should come as no surprise that despite facing significant instability in basic needs like housing and transportation, the most underserved and low-income communities across the country are very savvy smartphone users. This is why any incremental improvement that software can make to help meet these patients where they are can have an enormous (and disproportionately positive) impact on patient outcomes, especially for people living with HIV and Hepatitis C. ?? The 340B Drug Pricing Program turns 31 today! On the eve of the election, we celebrate a program with enduring bipartisan support. For three decades, 340B has been the backbone of America's public health safety net, helping providers stretch scarce federal resources to serve more patients. ?? Three things you might not know about the program: 1?? 1 in 10 Americans rely on community health centers for their care 2?? Ryan White clinics leverage 340B savings to provide HIV treatment to 575,000 people annually, achieving a 89% viral suppression rate (vs. 65% national avg.) 3?? New research published in JAMA shows that when FQHCs expand their 340B programs, they deliver more care to uninsured patients and boost preventive services Three decades in, 340B continues to demonstrate what's possible when we prioritize access to care for all Americans. #Healthcare #PublicHealth #HealthEquity #340B #CommunityHealth
