"It was while avoiding humans and hanging out with my dog that I learned how to be a better human. Quite the paradox, right?”
This line that came to me the morning of the pitch fixed a lot of nerves, hitting at the heart of why I started AlchemyPet.
Last Friday, I had the opportunity to pitch at #BioventureNexus at the Ritz in downtown LA. Instead of getting caught up in the details or feeling overwhelmed, I focused on that one line, reminding me of my "why” right off the bat.
And once I said it, the rest of the pitch flowed.
What a difference a year makes! Last year, I spent more time prepping but ended up reading most of my pitch, feeling nerves the whole way.?This year Tomás Santiago Duque put together a really well thought out deck in a few days, got final copy morning of and never needed to think twice.
It of course helps that alchemypet is further along now too—our MVP product line is finalized, produced right here in the USA: absorption-enhanced, microplastic-free dog food toppers that have already changed hundreds dog’s and their family's lives.
We've gained traction with incredible retailers, veterinarians & brand partners like CUDDLY and are set on our mission to bring joy to 1 million families through healthier dogs!
It was an honor to meet and share ideas with so many incredible founders, investors, and attendees. A big shoutout to Gabriel Levesque-Tremblay , the conference chair, who has his Great Dane, Prince, on AlchemyPet products!
Amazing conference now 2 years running, great to see & meet everyone old friends and new:
