Tania Armenta and Dan Fenton explained how important the visitor economy is to the economic vitality of Albuquerque, and that now is time for us to take advantage of the unique investment opportunities we have in front of us. Our Sports Commission recently supported the 2024 17u National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship. The championship returned to Twin Warriors Golf Course for the second consecutive year, showcasing 72 players who represented 12 different states/teams. Recent work: Signage, presentation, program and print items for yesterday's Visit Albuquerque Annual Meeting and 10-year Destination Master Plan rollout. We were honored to welcome almost 400 Partners, stakeholders and community members to this special event. Each morning, 365 days a year, is a fresh start to make a difference in our world. That's 3,650 mornings over the course of 10 years. At each table, we provided calendar dates and asked guests to write down anything – large or small – they would commit to doing on their particular morning. Together, our collective actions have the power to be transformative. Excited to be a part of the next chapter in further elevating Albuquerque as a one-of-a-kind destination to visit, live and work!
