Albedo is looking at Mars! ?? Thanks to a grant from?NASA’s Mars Exploration Program, we will be?studying?how to adapt our Earth-imaging, VLEO satellites and space-ground software systems to image the surface of the Red Planet. We’re proud to be sharing more with NASA about how we can help promote higher-frequency, lower-cost missions for domestic and international scientific objectives. 3 years isn't a long time in space, but the momentum China has built up is impossible to ignore. Albedo firmly believes in our commercial value to various global industries, but also in the value of a US-based, innovative capability to the US government. We are confident?large sats in VLEO will cement the US as a global leader in multiple categories, including EO and LWIR. Kudos to Kari Bingen, David Gauthier, and Madeleine Chang for putting this together!

Albedo has been a dual-use company since Day 1, and we remain committed to fulfilling our mission of supporting national defense with our commercial technology. Albedo will study how Clarity-1 can enhance Space Domain Awareness of objects in multiple orbits, leveraging our thermal sensor and precision pointing capabilities. Bringing clarity not only on Earth, but also in space!
