?? Clinical Immersion 2024 is off to a fantastic start! ?? Union ECBE students have spent a week with the Albany Med Anesthesiology Department, including observing procedures in the hospital and learning about airway management and point of care ultrasound in the Albany Medical College Patient Safety and Clinical Competency Center. Special thanks to Heather Frenz, Drs. Nibras Bughrara, Tanya Richvalsky, and Margaret O'Donohughe for their support of this hands-on workshop opportunity! And thank you to all the staff and faculty who supported our 'anesthesia week' -- especially Drs. Tanya Richvalsky and Divya Cherukupalli, who coordinated the experience and the students' schedules. Stay tuned, this week, students are beginning their rotations through 10 additional departments and clinical specialties!

The 8th annual summer Clinical Immersion Program is off to a great start! Albany Medical College OTR is thrilled to welcome eight rising senior Biomedical Engineering students from Union College's ECBE Department. They will be rounding in a variety of departments both within Albany Med Health System and in the local community over the next several weeks. This experience will allow them to identify real world needs to take back to their Senior Capstone Experience as they engineer innovative devices and technologies designed to address these identified needs.
