Alation Serves Employee Resource Group
Alation Serves is an Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Alation focused on planning initiatives for our Alationauts to give back by volunteering, mentoring, and supporting charitable causes. In 2024, we partnered with Family Giving Tree to provide school supply-filled backpacks to Bay Area students in need. During our “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” at HQ, Alationaut children joined their parents in packing these backpacks, furthering our commitment to community engagement.

Each quarter, our newest recruits head to Alation HQ for Sales Boot Camps. These intensive 3-day sessions get new account executives, solution engineers, and other field teams up-to-speed on Alation messaging and ways we drive value. Afterward, we celebrate our initiates over dinner and other fun activities, like karaoke!

Alation follows a hybrid model, enabling our Alationauts to collaborate and come together twice a week at our HQ in Redwood City. At our Return to Office launch event in October 2024, we welcomed our Alationauts back to the office. Celebrations included a succulent to warm up their desks, an in-person lunch to catch up, and a chance to take new headshots!
