We're proud to unveil a new video that showcases the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric Project and its future potential. ? Owned by AEA, the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric Project has been a low-cost source of electricity for the Railbelt for more than 30 years. Located near Homer, Alaska, the 120-megawatt facility generates about 10 percent of the total annual power used by the Railbelt. ? As the largest hydroelectric facility in the state, it provides clean, affordable energy for more than 550,000 Alaskans from Homer to Fairbanks. ? Bradley Lake power averages about four cents per kilowatt hour, a significant savings over the cost of fossil fuel sources. It exemplifies the role hydropower plays in our state’s energy mix.
