We’re super proud of Analisa Castillo for earning a Bachelor of Business Management from Western Governors University! She used our company’s education reimbursement benefit to assist with her tuition. In true Analisa form, she excelled and finished her courses in HALF the time that was originally estimated. This is one of the things she liked about WGU, the ability to self-pace her studies. Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment!??

Six team members visited South and Dimond high schools’ Freshman Career Exploration classes to talk about future career opportunities, share their individual career journeys and highlight the amazing apprenticeship opportunities in telecom. As they passed around samples of fiber optic cable, a student exclaimed, "I quite literally had the internet in my hands!" ? We’re big supporters of the Anchorage School District's Academies of Anchorage Program and are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate. ? We extend our appreciation to all our veterans and currently serving military members. We’re grateful for their service. Meet Stuart Chasse. He’s been with us for 11 years, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge from his time in the Army. He served all over the world, including Iraq, Somalia, Bosnia and Germany. He was motivated to enlist because of the immense opportunities for career growth in the armed forces. Stuart first came to Alaska for arctic winter training and fell in love with our state, despite it being -70 degrees at the time he first arrived. Stuart made Alaska his permanent home after retiring from the Army. He’s been married to his wife for 27 years and together they enjoy hunting and fishing for their food. With billions of dollars coming to Alaska, there’s no better time to get into the telecom field. Telecom work is here to stay for the foreseeable future. Alaska is not immune to the talent shortages telecoms are grappling with nationwide, so we decided to do something about it. We teamed up with MTA Solutions to promote the world-class training programs available right here in Alaska. At the Alaska Joint Electrical Apprenticeship and Training Trust, students of all ages and backgrounds EARN while they learn.
