Throwback to when the AMAA team had the privilege of providing inspections and testing for Meta’s Manhattan headquarters, located in the historic James Farley Building in Midtown. Completed a year and a half ago, the headquarters continue to function exceptionally. Once New York City's primary United States Postal Service hub, this landmark has been transformed into modern office space. Innovative design elements, such as repurposing old elevator cabs into cozy reading nooks, reflect a commitment to environmental sustainability while preserving the building’s unique character and historic charm. Facade installation is nearly complete at 1 St. Mark’s Place in the East Village, a new commercial office and retail building by Real Estate Equities Corporation. Morris Adjmi Architects designed this 9-story project, which features a distinctive rounded corner at the southwest and several setbacks on the west and south sides, providing space for outdoor terraces. The building's dark tan brick from Belden Tri-State, along with its large floor-to-ceiling windows and curved glass at the southwest corner, enhance its modern and contextual design. In addition to our NYCHA work, we’re proud to contribute regularly to the creation of new affordable housing units throughout the city. It’s been great working with the 2976 Third Ave Team, seeing this project come to life! This particular 12-story building is a vessel for 69 apartment complexes located in the Bronx, 21 of which are rent stabilized apartments.
