?? Celebrating Success at the Positive Futures Fair! ?? Our Positive Youth Development Division hosted the fall Positive Futures Fair at Castlemont High School, nestled in the community identified as most in need. This fair delivered a plethora of free resources to youth in Alameda County. Highlights from this fair include interactive provider bingo, where students ventured through booths and exchanged completed cards for delightful treats like Dole pineapple whipped ice cream and cinnamon-sugar donuts from our fantastic food trucks. We also brought smiles to lucky raffle winners with iPad giveaways. ??? What a Spooktacular Night at Our Trunk or Treat! ??? This year’s Trunk or Treat at the Juvenile Justice Center was magical! With roughly 400 attendees, the evening buzzed with laughter and lively spirits. ?? A big thank you to everyone who came out and made the night unforgettable—from the 15 lucky winners who went home with awesome prizes like bikes, basketballs, kinetic sand, playdoh, and more to all our little princesses, ghouls, and goblins who filled their bags with candies and treats. ?????? The fire department was a huge hit, letting kids explore the fire truck and snap some cool photos. ?? And congrats to Ms. Soltani, her mom, her team, who won the best trunk with 103 votes—talk about #SquadGhouls! ?? Special thanks to Ms. Pierson and her daughter for not only capturing sweet moments at the pumpkin patch but also printing and returning those memories to families on the same night. ???? We are immensely grateful to Chief Ford, Deputy Chief Conners, Ms. Martinez, and all the staff, partners, and community members who decorated their trunks, dressed up, and donated candy.
