Out of 67 applications, these 5 outstanding recipients were selected to receive $10,000 each to help launch or grow their farming dreams. These individuals represent the future of agriculture in Alabama, and we’re excited to support their journey: ?? Justin Anderson – Gordo, AL (Pickens County) Building J. Anderson Farms, focusing on stocker calves & pasture improvements. ?? Marty Brunson – Pike Road, AL (Montgomery County) Expanding MDB Apiaries to support pollinator education & sustainable agriculture. ?? Brittany Gulledge & Blake Carroll – Ozark, AL (Dale County) Growing 4C Meats, a pasture-to-plate beef operation committed to quality and sustainability. ?? Michael Smith – Newville, AL (Dale County) Developing Asbury Farms with agritourism, U-pick produce, and family-friendly attractions. ?? Josh & Bailey Williams – Eclectic, AL (Elmore County) Starting Windy Hill Farm, a diversified cattle operation with freezer beef sales.
