We had a wonderful dinner with local Nurse Case Managers and Adjusters for a discussion focused on: "Physicians' Perspectives on Managing Challenging Cases" Dr. Rodriguez discussed how congenital abnormalities can impact treatment. Dr. Patton shared insights on unrelated medical problems delaying maximum medical improvement, as well as self-limiting behaviors that affect outcomes. Dr. Roca provided his perspective on managing complex rotator cuff tears. We appreciate the opportunity to share some of the challenges Orthopaedic Surgeons face with Workers' Compensation Injuries.
