The State Revolving Fund section funds drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects for communities throughout the State of Alabama.?During this event, the Town of Owens Crossroads is breaking ground on a 10 million dollar wastewater treatment plant, which ADEM provided funding for.?The Chief of the State Revolving Fund was invited to participate in the ground breaking ceremony for the treatment plant.?During development of the project, ADEM engineers were involved in the review of the plans and specifications, environmental impact, and financial requirements.??The SRF will continue to manage and inspect this project and projects like it as they are constructed throughout the State.?The SRF has approximately 600 other infrastructure projects currently in development in water and wastewater in 2024.?
