Pronest Sekeleton Cut Up module in action ?? Safety ?? Capacity ?? Profit ?? Material Handeling Advanced Hypertherm Associates software module through ProNest allows skeleton cut up to be programmed automatically w/ the ProNest Skeleton Cutup module. One of the biggest challenges of automated cutting is removal of the scrap material or “skeleton”. After cutting out the parts the remaining piece must be processed and removed from the table before new material can be prepped for cutting. This is often an awkward and heavy piece to manage. The Skeleton Cutup module automates the cutting of the remnants into more manageable sizes. This video shows the skeleton cut up feature in action. You can watch the torch chop up the remaining piece. Without this module the operator has to manually cut this part up. It’s not just a clumsy and awkward piece of material to handle. It can also weigh 100s of lbs and be a dangerous operation. Hand cutting skeletons can lead to spring back as stress is relieved, the material can fall and crush as it is segmented, etc. This module manages the skeleton processing automatically.
