Competing alongside my fellow Alpha Kappa Psi brothers made this experience even more rewarding. I’m thrilled to share that my team and I won 1st place at the Spring 2025 Local Deloitte Case Competition, competing against 14 talented teams! I’m incredibly proud of my teammates—Krishan Patel, Rishika Jalagam, and Gianna Loschiavo—for their hard work and dedication. I couldn’t have asked for a more collaborative and driven group. A big thank you to Sejal Rai for her invaluable support and insights throughout the competition. And of course, a special thank you to Deloitte for the opportunity to participate in such a great experience. Yesterday evening, AKPsi brothers had the pleasure of hosting Rob Dickens to speak about his business venture, Rugged Maniac. Rugged Maniac was aired on Shark Tank, receiving a $1.75M investment from Mark Cuban for a 25% stake. Rob's advice highlighted a crucial aspect of entrepreneurship: the challenge of fully committing to a venture. He emphasized that the most successful entrepreneurs are those who dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their businesses, waking up each day with a focus on their goals and going to bed contemplating their next steps. Rob’s insights into the grit and determination necessary to launch and sustain a business were inspiring. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host Rob at our professional development event!

This past week, our Pledge Class passed their fraternal exam, becoming brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi! To kickstart this accomplishment, we hosted fellow alumni of Alpha Kappa Psi, Karlyn Conery Spring Class of ‘14. Karyln’s career path was special to hear about, and one thing that stood out was her advice like “practice your story and find the common thread." After that, our VP of Finance, Susan Zhang, gave an Excel Crash Course to help equip and strengthen the brothers’ skills. Thank you Karyln Conery and Susan Zhang for all the wonderful advice and knowledge you’ve instilled in our brothers!
