In 2023 our company invested in a tech solution to streamline the process of collecting and gathering customer information and documentation required to process and file tax returns.

Prior to the new the software "taxes2go", often we will experience challenges like clients not being able to make it onsite for consultation and preparation due to bad weather, clients not being able to make it to their tax preparation appointments due to conflicting work schedules. Some clients do not feel comfortable sending their confidential info via email and would prefer to share it via a secure portal. The issue of reviewing and signing tax returns was more streamlined, as our clients now have the flexibility to access, review and approve or disapprove their returns before they get filed, without necessarily coming onsite.
The last aspect that contributed to the tech innovation was the aspect of pricing, since our tax preparation and filing process require a consultation charge, which most clients did not feel comfortable paying, but we however needed to charge for in the process as it requires a consultation to perform an assessment to have a determination.

Our tech system (taxes2go) eliminated this process since clients are now able to provide all the necessary info to conduct an assessment and determine a quote estimate.

This process has streamlined the entire customer engagement and filing process, allowing us to serve more clients and send out more returns in a timely fashion.
This has also left most of our clients happier than before, since they now know how to access their portal from the comfort of anywhere to submit their forms or any additional documents, they need to submit in the process without necessarily coming to the office.
Also, this portal provides a one-stop-shop access point for our clients for all their tax returns.
