The Ajax Operator Care Program ensures that our operators are up to date on best equipment care practices. In addition, our equipment division has implemented QR codes on our machines to replace the paper care standards. New and veteran operators can now have daily checklists at their fingertips using their smartphones. Our hearts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. At Ajax, one of our biggest priorities is giving back to the communities we live and work in. Our A-Team is on Gulf Blvd in Madeira Beach, contributing to cleanup and emergency response efforts. Through Monday morning we had moved approximately 9,000 CY of material. Special shout out to our trucking department who quickly got the necessary equipment and trucks to our crews. Alongside FDOT and other contractors, we are dedicated to aid in a smooth and safe recovery of our communities. Storm prep is in full effect! Dave Brower, Pipe Foreman, and his crew are busy filling sandbags and preparing our job sites for Hurricane Helene. The sandbags are used for many things, including keeping the edges of the roadway from washing out and weighing down some MOT devices to keep them secure. Great job A-Team and stay safe out there!
