Thank you to everyone who joined us this week at the Advanced Aerial Innovation Region (#AAIR) Forum at Newlab Michigan Central in #Detroit. Airspace Link, Inc. was proud to co-host this exciting kickoff event with Michigan Central and Newlab, marking the official launch of the initiative. The AAIR initiative was created by Michigan Central and Michigan Department of Transportation as part of a pioneering effort to accelerate commercial drone development in Michigan. As a presenting partner alongside Newlab, Airspace Link will provide operational support to participating drone operators as they develop and test innovative use cases - from medical deliveries to infrastructure inspection. This collaboration between industry leaders, federal regulators, and local municipalities aims to advance policy, create jobs, and establish the Detroit area and the State of Michigan as a leader in next-generation aerial mobility. The AAIR Forum event brought together key stakeholders across industry, government, and technology to address crucial aspects of aerial mobility integration, from infrastructure and software requirements to policy frameworks and community impact. Located around one of the busiest airports in the United States, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), Romulus, with the help of Airspace Link, has taken significant steps to open its airspace for safe and efficient #drone operations, enhancing public safety, streamlining logistics, and fostering economic development. Last month, #AirspaceLink was honored to support and play a key role in the MHA Drone Project, which was funded by a U.S. Department of Transportation grant. The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara (MHA) Nation, also known as the Three Affiliated Tribes, is located on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in central North Dakota.?During Phase 1, we collaborated with partners to demonstrate how #drones can support rural medical delivery between health clinics within Tribal lands. We created a ground risk analysis leveraging our #AirHub? Portal platform, which helped secure #FAA approval for the #BVLOS waiver and enabled real-time #drone tracking during the flight. We also integrated with radar, ADS-B data, and telemetry data to enhance situational awareness and ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the operations. ? ? The MHA Nation is now using AirHub? Portal for #UAS planning and operations. This common technical platform can support their workforce development goals as well as current and future UAS operational plans. ?
