ADCI is honored to receive the 2025 Maryland Quality Initiative (MdQI) MBE/WBE Engineering Award for our involvement in the Runway 15-33 Rehabilitation project at Martin State Airport. ADCI provided Civil Engineering and Program Management for the project, which rehabilitated the full length of the runway pavement, replaced associated airfield lighting, and addressed standards deficiencies while considering future improvements and operational impacts to the stakeholders. A big thank you to Maryland Aviation Administration, Maryland Air National Guard, and Martin State Airport for their trust in ADCI to complete this important project.

On Tuesday, ADCI’s President, Cedrick Johnson, PE participated in the Effective Partnering with Industry Leaders Fireside Chat alongside Dwight Pullen, Jr., AECOM’s North American Aviation Leader, at AECOM’s PDC Partnering Event in San Antonio, TX. Their discussion centered on business growth, strategic partnerships, and relationship building within the aviation industry. Cedrick reflected on his journey in founding ADCI in 2006 and its transformation into a leading aviation consultancy, highlighting ADCI’s strategic shift from subconsultant to prime consultant. The conversation also covered the critical role of trust and strong relationships among industry partners and clients in driving long-term success. A big thank you to all the attendees who came out to support the event and to AECOM for hosting. Special thanks to Brian Fuerst for moderating the discussion and to Dwight Pullen, Jr. for the engaging conversation.
