We are thrilled to share that we have been accredited by ArbNet as a Level 1 Arboretum ?? Our arboretum is a beautiful and vibrant gathering space, hosting weddings, team-building events, and community activities. It is home to a wide collection of trees, such as Hemlock-Canadian trees, Tuliptrees, and various maples and oaks, which support local wildlife and enhance the landscape. It is also historically significant as the birthplace of Earth Day, with an Earth Day tree symbolizing our environmental commitment. Our accreditation reflects our high standards in tree care, sustainability, and education. This accreditation strengthens our property, connects us with other well-managed arboreta, and provides valuable resources for ongoing improvements, ensuring the space continues to benefit both nature and the community.

As Airlie celebrates Black History Month, we have continued working with Procure Impact to partner with Black-owned businesses. You can find tea from My Cup of Tea in our lobby for our complimentary tea service. Based in Orange Mound, Tennessee, My Cup of Tea employs women from the local neighborhood—many who are single parents or grandparents who live below the poverty line. We also purchased natural lip balm from Beelove for all of our employees to use during this dry, chilly winter season. Located in Chicago, Illinois, Beelove provides hive-to-jar products made by justice-impacted individuals who are embracing new starts in their lives. We love great news on a Friday ?? We’re excited and proud to share that Airlie’s very own General Manager Josh Reichert has been named Chapter President for the Bull Run Chapter of the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association (VRLTA)! The Bull Run Chapter serves Fauquier, Culpeper, Prince William and Stafford. Recent accomplishments of the Chapter include working with local groups to repeal the meals tax in Prince William County and bringing Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program resources to chapter members.
