The AUTLC provides developmental support to faculty and students across all of AU and other Military Education institutions. The AUTLC builds, delivers, and manages resources and programming to grow and enrich the professional knowledge and capabilities of AU faculty and students. The AUTLC conducts learning technology training and research, hosts developmental and collaborative events, and manages learning technology assets and facilities to support education at AU. Research efforts also extend to the scholarship of teaching and learning and findings directly influence faculty and student support programming.

??Happening Now!?? USAF Air Command and Staff College Next War Wargaming at the Air University Teaching and Learning Center ?? ACSC is in the midst of Next War wargaming—an immersive and strategic experience designed to challenge and prepare future military leaders. Sponsored by the Air University Teaching and Learning Center, this initiative incorporates air, naval, land, and—for the first time—cyber warfare into the curriculum. ?? When: February 25-27 ?? Where: AU Teaching and Learning Center, Werling Auditorium ?? What’s New? This year’s wargaming features multiple iterations, allowing students to refine their strategies with real-time decision-making and debriefing cycles. After each session, they reset, analyze outcomes, and adjust their plans for the next turn, simulating the evolving nature of warfare. For the first time, the game includes a custom-built software component developed by Major Ryan Thompson, a student at ACSC. Using open-source software as a foundation, he tailored the system to streamline game adjudication, making the process faster and more efficient. This exercise is more than just a simulation—it’s a critical step in preparing warfighters for the complexities of modern conflict.
