JEMEA is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal cutting across both the social sciences and airpower operational art and strategy. JIPA is a forum for worldwide dialogue regarding the Indo–Pacific region, spanning from the west coasts of the Americas to the eastern shores of Africa and covering much of Asia and all of Oceania. WBY is a peer-reviewed online journal and forum focused on how to reshape the way we think about air, space, cyberspace, and the multi-domain. These editions are published quarterly in print and electronic format. * Air University Press is a proud member of the Association of University Presses. We are part of a community of publishing professionals and institutions committed to the highest caliber of research-based scholarship and advocate for the fundamental role of scholarly publishing in achieving academic excellence and cultivating and disseminating knowledge.

A new Kenney paper is here! "Fortifying South Korea’s Nontraditional Security: Addressing Cybersecurity and Economic Vulnerabilities" by SeungHwan (Shane) Kim Read it now at: https://ow.ly/PkJI50UM9hV This paper analyzes and evaluates South Korea’s response to the shifting paradigm of national security, especially nontraditional security. The South Korean government has tried to address these nontraditional security issues. Still, the national sectors’ imbalance in national security and nontraditional security understandings obscured the practicality of the government’s response. This paper analyzes the two most urgent nontraditional security threats in South Korea: cybersecurity and economic security, which contain “intangible consequences” and highlights the necessity for an effective response. It lays out the evaluation of each security threat and provides the reasons for these threats’ significance, assesses original policies through a comparative analysis with the case of Australia, goes through advantages and disadvantages, and provides policy recommendations. #AUPress #AUP #AirUniversity #KenneyPaper #JIPA #IndoPacific #NationalSecurity #Cybersecurity #EconomicSecurity #SouthKorea #Policy #Security #CyberThreats #Geopolitics
