As the air component of the U.S. Transportation Command, AMC is comprised of a Total Force effort to execute Rapid Global Mobility and enable Global Reach –the ability to respond anywhere in the world in a matter of hours. This is accomplished through AMC’s four core mission areas – Airlift, Air Refueling, Air Mobility Support and Aeromedical Evacuation.

Prioritizing AMC's commitment ???? enabling the joint force
??Gen. Randall Reed, commander, USTRANSCOM, met with Gen. John Lamontagne, commander, Air Mobility Command, to discuss how USTRANSCOM and AMC can collaborate to support the Joint Force effectively. AMC’s core mission sets—airlift, air refueling, aeromedical evacuation, and rapid global mobility—play a vital role in ensuring the Joint Force is ready to respond anytime, anywhere. These capabilities enable the deployment and sustainment of U.S. armed forces globally, provide humanitarian assistance, and ensure wounded warriors receive the highest level of care through aeromedical evacuation, maintaining a 97% survival rate. The Total Force Mobility Airmen and the Global Air Mobility Support System exemplify AMC’s commitment to projecting, connecting, and sustaining combat power worldwide. #TogetherWeDeliver #GlobalReach #MobilityAirmen #MissionReady #JointForce

This month is National Native American Heritage Month! Did you know, Native Americans and Alaskan Natives serve in the U.S. Military at a higher rate than any other demographic? This year, AMC along with several other Air Force organizations visited the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Alaskan Natives in Kotzebue and Anchorage, and the Cherokee Nation. This month, we celebrate and honor the culture, heritage, and contributions of America's indigenous people to our nation's armed forces.
