The heroes have arrived! We are grateful to win “best costume” at the IREM Orange County 2025 Trivia Night. It was a perfect evening to join up with friends and battle it out over Marvel and Disney trivia. We had a blast with our super-powered team, Suzi Mier, Lupita Cano and Theresa Ramirez. On Tuesday, Air Control Systems conducted its first quarterly safety meeting of the new year. This event was an excellent opportunity to establish the direction for 2025 and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to safety. In addition to discussing job site safety practices, we engaged in a comprehensive and candid discussion about mental health, which significantly impacts our work and safety performance. We also addressed the dangers associated with driving while drowsy. Given the lack of societal emphasis on this issue, we aimed to underscore its risks, and the findings were indeed alarming! We appreciate the reminders regarding the importance of mental health, maintaining a proper sleep routine, and overall well-being. We encourage everyone to prioritize safety daily. Happy Working Mom’s Day! We’re in awe of all that working moms achieve every single day. At ACS, we’re lucky to have some incredible working moms who lead by example. We caught up with one of our amazing team members to hear her thoughts on balancing it all. Here's what she shared: “I know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance the demands of being a working mom and a sports mom, especially with five kids! There are days when it feels like there’s not enough time for anything, let alone for myself. From early morning practices to late-night games, it’s exhausting. But through it all, I've learned that it's okay to not have everything figured out. Some days are tough, and it feels like we're running on empty, but we keep showing up. We make it work, because we love our kids and want the best for them, even when it’s hard. To all the working moms out there juggling careers, kids, and everything else—you're doing incredible things. Don't forget to give yourself grace and take pride in the fact that you're giving your best, even when it feels like it’s never enough.
