Here in Colorado (and across the United States) scammers are sending text messages and emails claiming YOU owe unpaid tolls, including threats of being fined or suspending your driver's license if they are not paid immediately. Keep in mind... ?? FastTrak does NOT operate in Colorado (it’s a California tolling system) ?? Colorado’s ExpressToll has stated they do not demand payment via text or email ?? Other states are reporting similar scams, impersonating toll agencies like FasTrak, E-ZPass, and TxTag. How to stay safe... ? Verify your toll charges through your state's official tolling agency (for Colorado: www.expresstoll.com) ? Do NOT click suspicious links or provide sensitive information, especially in response to unexpected messages ?
