As we enter the second half of 2024, we are reflecting on two great industry recognitions we received earlier this year: we were named to the CB Insights "AI 100" list of the top 100 private AI companies, alongside OpenAI and Databricks and others, and we were selected as honorees in Fast Company's World Changing Ideas 2024 list, where our world changing idea was described as "using AI to design batteries." If you were in Times Square this past week, you may have seen our mission on display to the world, in partnership with our friends at Brex: that generative AI can do way more than just build cool chatbots -- it can actually help us save the planet. We're referring, of course, to all the ways in which gen AI can accelerate science. In our case, gen AI accelerates the process of designing and commercializing new materials for clean energy.
