Last week the inaugural cohort of our Hui Kapili Accelerator program graduated! The amazing group of 10 construction businesses committed 10 weeks of learning presented by American Savings Bank and Hawaii Home + Remodeling Magazine. The goal was to empower small- to mid-sized construction-related companies with the business acumen needed to succeed in Hawaii's competitive market. They heard from leaders and experts in their fields and covered a range of topics, including marketing, financials, HR, and so much more. Congratulations to this stellar group as they continue to build a better Hawaii!

Mahalo, Center for Tomorrow's Leaders for this amazing opportunity and partnership. Haley was a great addition to the team this summer!
Keep an eye on local Gen Z as they make their mark in the workforce. ?? Over the summer, CTL alumni have the opportunity to intern with Hawai’i-based organizations to learn what it’s like to lead in the workforce. Julie Hirano Kaneko, Director of Marketing and Communications for aio Digital. Julie served as a mentor and advisor for our Summer in Hawai’i intern, Haley Alferez. “Haley was a pleasure to have in our office this summer. She was quick to learn and help out on projects. Partnering with CTL for this program was a great way for us to have some additional help, while also providing unique pathways and opportunities to give our up-and-coming workforce the chance to gain first-hand and real-world experiences.” Haley thrived in an environment that she described as welcoming and supportive. Haley shares that, “my advisor ensured I always received the help I needed and was eager to teach me new things in the marketing field.” Mahalo to Julie and aio Digital for believing in Hawaii’s next generation of young leaders and for your commitment to nurturing their growth. #leadlocalHI #internships #leadershipdevelopment #localgenz #marketinginternship #youth #leadership #workforce
