?? Celebrating One Year of the AIMES Alliance!!??? Join us in celebrating one year of the AIMES Alliance (one day early)! The AIMES Alliance was formally launched on February 29, 2024, so today we are sharing a few of our favorite highlights from the past year: -Creating and launching a Tribal GME Tool to support medical students in their search for residency and fellowship programs that serve tribal communities: https://lnkd.in/gsWZyN9e -Convening Alliance members in Washington DC for two days of educational meetings with influential federal policymakers: https://lnkd.in/e6FRgHd7 -And representing the Alliance at national conferences including the National Association of Insurance Commissioners conference: https://lnkd.in/e_dT_Nzz A year ago, we came together with a shared vision: to expand physician graduate medical education (GME) in tribal communities and create pathways for future healthcare leaders who will serve these communities. Thank you to everyone who has supported our work so far, especially our members who work tirelessly both within and outside of the Alliance to expand Tribal GME. We look forward to another exciting year! #AIMESAlliance #TribalHealth ALBUQUERQUE AREA INDIAN HEALTH BOARD, INC American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Association of American Indian Physicians, Association of Native American Medical Students, Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, Chapa-De Indian Health, Denver Health Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board, Health Care Service Corporation Germane Solutions, Indian Health Board of Minneapolis, Inc., Marimn Health, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, Mayo Clinic, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Mount Sinai Health System Pascua Yaqui Tribe Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Partners In Health Rocky Vista University Seattle Indian Health Board Sanford Health THCGME Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine WCRGME (Wisconsin Collaborative for Rural GME) University of Washington - School of Medicine, Bush Foundation

Maximizing Collaboration to Reduce Physician Shortages in Tribal Medical Facilities Through Graduate Medical Education.
关于我们
Our Mission: The mission of the American Indian Medical Education Strategies (AIMES) Alliance is to advance American Indian and Alaska Native access to care, reduce physician shortages, and expand opportunities for training physicians to benefit communities by collaboratively advancing federal and Tribal solutions that expand graduate medical education in Tribal communities through communications, outreach, and policy development. Our Vision: The AIMES Alliance envisions an environment where urban and rural Tribal members benefit from fully staffed medical facilities filled with physicians who provide high-quality and culturally appropriate care and invest in the communities where they serve. The Alliance also envisions a medical education and training environment where allopathic and osteopathic physicians have extensive opportunities to benefit communities and further their education and training in urban and rural Indian Health Service, Tribal-administered, and other indigenous clinics and facilities. AIMES Alliance membership is open to all Tribal nations, Tribal organizations, and public and private non-Tribal entities that are invested in reducing physician shortages in Tribal communities and expanding graduate medical education. To receive detailed membership information or apply, please visit www.aimesalliance.org or reach out to [email protected].
