After engaging in our “Idea Incubator,” Colloquium attendees were treated to a working panel session developed by AIDPH’s Oral Health Community Advisory Board and Oral Health Community Engagement Task Force. AIDPH's Keri Eason, Ph.D. participated while Annaliese C. moderated. This session provided attendees with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to build actionable pathways toward an oral health system that reflects values of inclusion, empowerment, and justice. They discussed how community members need a say in decision making and are experts on their own lives, and how community-engaged research builds trust. Today was a day to remember.
