I recently had the honor of attending Sanford Health’s Annual Summit on the Future of Rural Health Care. I would like to share heartfelt thank you to everyone at Sanford Health and Lindsay Daniels and their CEO Bill Gassen for the invitation and the opportunity to be part of this inspiring event! The discussions around the future of AI in healthcare, new care models, and the essential balance between legislation and innovation were both enlightening and energizing. I was particularly inspired by the opportunity to collaborate with Adam Berger, Nworah Ayogu, Alex Oshmyansky, MD, PhD, and Eve Cunningham MD MBA. Dr. Cunningham is yet another example of a great leader who continuously challenges the status quo and drives innovation, including as the GVP, Chief of Virtual Care and Digital Health, Providence and Founder and CEO, MedPearl, a clinical intelligence company dedicated to transforming patient care. Leaders like her reaffirm the importance of bold ideas in advancing healthcare. Special thanks to all the speakers and government officials who shared their perspectives on these crucial topics. Their expertise and commitment to healthcare progress are helping us navigate the complex intersection of policy and technology to ensure high-quality, accessible care for rural communities.
