?? AI, Alignment, and Utopia - A Night of Thought-Provoking Conversations ?? When I started working in AI last May during my internship at Intripid, my focus was on building. I didn’t take the time to question my values in AI - I was just working on something that personally helped me and a product that I know would create value. But as I started attending more networking events and especially after joining Virgent AI, I began to ask myself: Where am I going with all this work? Does it contribute to my vision of an AI utopia? One of the most noteworthy moments in this journey was the AI Soirée in DC, hosted by The GenAI Collective last week. Alongside 20 brilliant minds, we explored some of AI’s most fundamental questions: ?? What’s our AI utopia? Our dystopia? ?? Can we ever achieve true human alignment with AI? ?? What we as humans who are at the forefront of AI can do? I walked away with brewing thoughts, incredible conversations, and an amazing book - AI Driven by Wolf Ruzicka. More importantly, I left with a deeper sense of purpose in my AI journey. Looking forward to more of these thought-provoking discussions and meeting incredible people who are shaping the future of AI.
