In this special 🎃 Halloween edition 🎃 , we tell the frightening tale of a student who evaluated her own credentials and the registrar who thought nothing of it. Leah W. Aleksander Morawski from Scholaro was happy to host the #GlobalLearningMobility lunch, sponsored by #AICE at #AACRAO2025. Panel members discussed supporting and advancing the development of #immigrationpolicy, #credentialrecognition, and #learnermobility processes in the #USA. A warm thank you to  Dr. Belma Sadikovic (AACRAO), Beka Tavartkiladze (World Education Services), Dr. Opal Leeman Bratzis (Michigan State University), Julia Funaki (AACRAO) for discussing a timely topic, and generously offering their time to attendees.

The call has gone out! 🤳 🖥️ All members are asked to contribute to the regular #CredentialForum, which takes place the second Thursday of every month from 12 to 1 Eastern. Last month, members discussed new documents received from #Tanzania, the #Mexico #RVOE, awarded credentials from the #ArchitecturalAssociationSchoolofArchitecture and how to place them, #German secondary leaving certificates and a new #gradingscale from an institute in #India. This is an ideal time for reps from colleges and unis to apply for #free #AffiliateMembership and actively contribute to #admissions decision-making. AACRAO and AICE: Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. work closely, examining new #credentials and #changes in #education and #highereducation all over the #world. So many #AICE members serve on the #AACRAO #InternationalEducationStandardsCouncil (#IESC). They *volunteer* to keep us all informed about changes and updates. We are so proud that Jasmin Saidi-Kuehnert, Shelby Cearley, Nancy Katz, Robert Watkins, William Paver, and Dale Gough are part of a committee of 8 voting members (with Dale being an observer). They work seamlessly with colleagues like Emily Tse to keep #EDGE updated and relevant to all users.

Another source to #monitor #global #highereducation changes and #development. Read up on #PrivateUniversities on the continent of #Africa 🌍 -- an author from #Ethiopia's #StMarysUniversity and #SouthAfrica's #UniversityofKwaZuluNatal. #AICE members monitor the #world and #education in every way they find.

Shelby Cearley did more than speak of course--she #educated anyone in her sessions. #AICE is happy to see #AffiliateMembers (and members of the AACRAO #IESC!) give so much back to the #education / #higherEducation communities. Great to see #Badges arriving!

Exhibiting at #AACRAO2025 was fun and energizing for #EndorsedMember Foreign Credentials Service of America (FCSA). Representatives were happy to meet hundreds of people and let them know that #AICE has lots to offer from all it's members.

As our #Members recover from all the #networking and #learning at #AACRAO2025 conference in Seattle, we are happy to share how #Endorsed member Aleksander Morawski and AACRAO's Annetta Stroud, Ed.M. shared information on #Uzbekistan. Aleks is leading the way with #AI at Scholaro, too!

So many gather for this amazing event, #AACRAO2025 had a very active marketplace that was also fun. It was great to see Parchment, an Instructure Company, present. They have been endlessly supportive of the digitization of # highereducation # transcripts, a key document for all #AICE members!
