Attending the Chicago AI Meetup yesterday was a great experience! Organized by AICamp and hosted by Microsoft, the session was packed with thought-provoking discussions on agentic AI frameworks, open-source collaboration, and hands-on demos that showcased the future of AI-driven automation. Key Takeaways: ??? Trevor Grant (Electric Elk) kicked things off with an introduction to the Gofannon Project ( Github: https://lnkd.in/gy-PZRiN ), an open-source initiative aimed at enabling seamless interoperability between agentic frameworks like LangChain, SmolAgents, and AWS Bedrock. He highlighted how the project is designed to lower the barrier for new contributors in open-source AI, making it easier for developers to get involved. ?? Joe Olson (The AI Alliance) followed up with a deep dive into Open Agent Frameworks, demonstrating deployment reference implementations and discussing how businesses can leverage these technologies. He also gave a live demo of building an AI agent using Amazon Bedrock and Gofannon, showcasing how function-calling-enabled language models can be enhanced with additional capabilities and advanced reasoning techniques. Beyond the tech talks, it was great to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and discuss the evolving landscape of Generative AI and LLMs. Looking forward to the next AI Meetup and more insightful discussions! Excited to continue learning, networking, and exploring the latest in Generative AI. ?? ??

?????? ???? ???????????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ?????????? ???? ??????-???????? ??????????????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ????????????????’?? ????????????????! AI Agents are the future—but how do you actually build one without spending months on coding, data pipelines, and infrastructure? DataStax and AICamp conducted a GenAI Workshop in Zurich yesterday, where we built an AI Agent in less than an hour. No complex setup, no deep AI expertise—just drag, drop, and deploy. ?? The Secret? A powerful combo of: ???? Langflow – A drag-and-drop AI workflow builder for no-code/low-code development. ??? Astra DB – A vector-enabled database for real-time semantic search & retrieval. ??? Streamlit – The easiest way to build a quick front-end and test your AI agent. ?? The Big Takeaway? AI development is no longer just for experts. It’s about making AI accessible to everyone. Whether you’re a developer, product manager, or AI enthusiast—this stack lets you prototype AI agents FAST. ? Imagine this: ?? Testing an AI-powered customer support agent in minutes. ?? Building a chatbot that answers FAQs with context-aware accuracy. ?? Creating an AI agent that queries orders, retrieves real-time product details, and works seamlessly with multiple agents. AI development is changing. Prototyping used to be hard and time-consuming—now, with tools like Langflow + Astra DB, anyone can try it. Would you build your next AI prototype this way? Drop your thoughts below! P.S. Huge thanks for organizing such an insightful event! ???? Ted Haile Dieter Flick Frederec Im #AI #GenAI #LowCode #AIagents #TechInnovation

?? Exploring the Power of LLMs & Knowledge Graphs – Feb 26th! ?? Last Wednesday, our Graph Database Group had the privilege of volunteering at one of Melbourne’s most exciting AI events! Organized by AICamp and Neo4j, the event brought together AI professionals and enthusiasts for an evening of insightful discussions and valuable networking. Key points from the sessions: ?? Muddassir Zaidi & Angelo Bueti (Neo4j) explored the impact of GraphRAG & Knowledge Graphs on LLM performance, demonstrating how graph-powered retrieval strengthens LLMs by improving contextual understanding, enhancing response accuracy, and minimizing hallucinations. Their talk came to life with an impressive AI Fashion Assistant demo, leaving the audience fascinated! ?? Hugo Bowne-Anderson provided a deep dive into Augmented LLMs, Multi-Agent Architectures, and agentic workflows—breaking down when agents truly add value and when a simple LLM call or an Augmented LLM call is the smarter choice. His insights highlighted strategies for designing AI systems that are efficient and free from unnecessary complexity. A big thanks to John McGiffin (CEO, Natural Velocity) for fostering AI innovation through the Natural Velocity Innovation Centre and to AICamp & Neo4j for bringing the community together. Beyond the presentations, the session was dynamic and engaging! It felt amazing to witness AI enthusiasts exchanging knowledge, exploring real-world use cases, and networking with like-minded professionals. More AI discussions and networking meetups coming soon—stay tuned! #AICamp #GraphDatabase #Neo4j #AI #LLM #KnowledgeGraphs #DataScience #Networking #MelbourneAI

Thank you to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AICamp for a great session on building multi-model agents last Saturday. My takeaways? ?? If you are building a multi-step agentic workflow, breaking it down into a multi-model workflow allows you to fine-tune which model you are using at each step, leading to better (and often more cost-efficient) results. ?? Tools like CrewAI make orchestrating your multi-model/multi-agent workflow intuitive. ?? Breaking down a workflow into a multi-model/multi-agent workflow keeps your code modular, which makes it easier to understand, maintain, and iterate on.

?????????????????? ????????!?? Messages like these are what keep me going! Seeing how AICamp provides value—whether it's new opportunities, learning, or simply a space to connect—is incredibly fulfilling. AI is vast and evolving rapidly, but what truly sets us apart as humans is our ability to build connections, share knowledge, and support each other. While AI can optimize many things, community is something we create together. Thank you, Shilpa S Bheemareddy, for sharing this! Wishing you success in your journey, and I’m sure many more exciting opportunities are ahead for you. #KnowledgeSharing #HumansOfAI #BuildingTogether PS: A big shout-out to Sreeji Gopal, Ananya Kamboj, Aamir Meyaji for helping me make this a success! And to Bill Liu for the opportunity to build this.
