Moses Set the Table — Can AI Help Serve the Torah? ?? https://lnkd.in/g6gBN-U6 Can artificial intelligence supercharge access to Torah learning? This is a question on the minds of Jewish thinkers, educators, learners and more as we look out over the precipice of the future — but we might, paradoxically, find answers by looking to the past. This piece is by ?Rabbanit Sara Wolkenfeld, a member of Sinai and Synapses’ Jewish Thought and Jewish Education for the Digital Future working group and the Chief Learning Officer at Sefaria. This post was originally published on eJewishPhilanthropy.

Maximising Clients Hiring Success with AI/IA and AI Governance Subject Matter Experts as Director of Boston Quantara (UK, USA) and Director (UK) HEAT Digital and Tech (Permanent, Contract & Public Sector Resourcing)

One of the biggest questions for business leaders implementing AI is: how do you teach AI to act ethically? It’s not about expecting perfection but building in moments for regular checkpoints where your AI evaluates its decisions against your business’s values. These pauses don’t have to slow things down but can be seamlessly integrated into workflows. For example, you could introduce evaluations during model retraining, or ethical “decision reviews” as part of automated processes. These moments keep your AI aligned with your moral compass, ensuring it stays on the right track. Thank you to our guest and Subject Matter Expert for Boston Quantara, Ben Christensen. You can listen to the full podcast episode at the link in the comments. #AIEthics #ArtificialIntelligence #AI --------------------------- Damian Speirs is the Director of Boston Quantara, a specialist AI/IA talent consultancy, with a unique three step approach to optimizing success in engineering and governance roles. Our AI&F expert Dr. David Zvi Kalman hosts an illuminating podcast conversation in Episode 13 of "Belief in the Future," titled "The Wild World of Bible Apps." While we often examine how technology has transformed religious practice, this episode flips the script: How has religion driven technological advancement? Dr. Kalman speaks with John Dyer, professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and author of the new book "People of the Screen," which reveals the surprising ways religion—particularly software designed to share the Bible—has been quietly shaping technological development for decades. This conversation between Sinai and Synapses Senior Technology Advisor Dr. Kalman and Professor Dyer uncovers the rich, intertwined history of software development and faith that continues to influence our digital landscape today. Call for Abstracts: CCAR Journal Issue on AI and Judaism Two of our experts, Rabbi Geoffrey Mitelman and Sara Wolkenfeld, are calling for abstracts for a journal: How will the rise of artificial intelligence impact the future of Jewish thought, living, and practice? As we adopt new technological tools, how much is AI a difference of degree, and how much of kind? To explore these questions, we invite articles of 3000 to 4000 words for a future CCAR Journal issue focusing on how AI is changing the Jewish community. These topics may include (but are not limited to) the role of creativity, how AI has changed learning, questions of intellectual property, and the impact of AI on truth and falsity. As this field is rapidly changing, we encourage contributors to think in medium- and long-term timescales, informing how we can address the challenges we face in both the present and the future. We are interested in both philosophical and practical issues surrounding AI and Judaism, and both modern framing of ancient questions as well as unprecedented issues that have arisen. Please submit a 150-word abstract to? [email protected]? and? [email protected]?by Tuesday, April 8.
