In 2011, AIA Seattle founded the Seattle Design Festival, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to celebrate all the ways that design makes life better for Seattle. The project places mass timber in the classrooms of future business leaders and engineers, providing a sustainable and state-of-the-art center to learn.
