On Thursday evening, AIA Phoenix Metro Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) presented an insightful and educational panel on Career Paths in Healthcare Architecture at the AIA Arizona office in Phoenix. The panel discussion was valuable for all architecture professionals, with topics on challenges and rewards in the industry, project experiences, collaboration and teamwork within healthcare projects and future goals for the field of healthcare design. Kids Build started in 2011 within the AIA Phoenix Metro chapter, and has been an important outreach program for our architecture profession. In 13 years, more than 1,100 elementary school students have taken part. Kids Build has also received numerous awards, including a 2017 AIA National Grassroots Component Excellence Award. ?
