Tech AI and the Center for Scientific Software Engineering (CSSE) at Georgia Institute of Technology have partnered to further bridge the gap between academia and industry, advancing scalable AI solutions across various sectors through cutting-edge software engineering and collaborative innovation.

The founders of LAMPS PUC-Rio, Alexandre Street and Davi Vallad?o, had an amazing week visiting AI4OPT - AI Institute for Advances in Optimization at Georgia Institute of Technology with Prof Pascal Van Hentenryck. After many years of fruitful collaboration and sending five PhD students to Georgia Tech for various research periods, this week, LAMPS and AI4Opt have exchanged valuable experiences. They have also strengthened the collaboration for ongoing and future avenues of researches in Optimization-based AI, time series forecast, and power systems applications. Thanks for Andrew Rosemberg, AI4OPT and Lamps Puc-Rio Alumini, and André Ramos, Lamps Co and our PhD student at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. AI4OPT - AI Institute for Advances in Optimization, along with representatives from Clark Atlanta University and Drew Charter High School, participated in the Empowering the AI Talent of Today and Tomorrow Congressional Showcase to present their efforts in preparing students from historically Black and Hispanic-serving institutions to become future leaders in AI, supported by the commitment of the National Science Foundation (NSF) to AI education and workforce development.
